Public Records Request

To request assistance locating public record documents online or to request copies of archived records and registered voter information, please submit your request to (561)656-6200 or mailbox@pbcelections.org .

If extensive resources and staff time are required to fulfill your request, a service charge might be required in compliance with Chapter 119 of the Florida Statutes.

  • A service charge will be warranted if copying or inspecting of the requested public records requires more than 30 minutes of staff time. The charge will not apply to the first 30 minutes of required staff time.
  • Clerical review includes any searching, reviewing and redacting of any confidential information and any copying associated with the requested records.
  • Supervisory assistance may be required to fulfill a public records request for documents or inspection of records.

The service charge is additional to any charges for the actual cost of production or duplication. A detailed quote will be provided for your approval prior to fulfilling any public records request that requires a service charge. Payment will be required in full prior to any coping, reviewing, redacting or otherwise processing if extensive staff time and material cost is needed.
