ABSENTEE BALLOTS AVAILABLE

Absentee Ballots are now available for the upcoming UNIFORM MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS to be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at the following locations:

PBC SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS FACILITY
240 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach
Weekdays, March 3rd - March 7th from 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, March 8th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

In addition a voter may have an Absentee Ballot mailed to them by calling the Supervisor of Elections Office at (561) 656-6200, by sending a written request to the Supervisor of Elections, Post Office Box 22309, West Palm Beach, FL 33416 or by completing the Application on the Elections Office Website (www.pbcelections.org).

Voters who request Absentee Ballots over the telephone or the Internet must provide, under Florida Law, the following information: Residence Address, Mailing Address and Date of Birth. Voters who request Absentee Ballots by mail must provide the same information as well as their signature. All requests for Absentee Ballots must come from either the voter or a member of the voter's immediate family.

Any voter, who wishes to vote prior to Election Day for any reason, may vote their ballot in person at any of the Elections Offices listed above.

The deadline for submitting a request for an Absentee Ballot to be mailed to a voter is Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at 5:00 p.m.
