Supervisor of Elections Office Announces January Town Hall Meeting Month

West Palm Beach, FL - December 27, 2007 -The Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Office has announced they will be holding four town hall meetings all across the County during the month of January. The first will kick off in Delray Beach at City Hall on the 7th at seven pm and the public is strongly encouraged to attend. These back to basics informational sessions will be hosted by PBC Supervisor of Elections Dr. Arthur Anderson. On the agenda will be such topics as the upcoming Presidential Preference Primary, demonstrations of the existing voting equipment to be used for the current elections and information on the new voting equipment to be used in the fall elections, details of the County’s ongoing voter education campaign and updates regarding the elections office, as well as other significant topics. Citizens will also have the opportunity to ask questions, demo the existing touch-screen voting machines, register, update your contact information and sign up to be a poll worker. 

Three additional town hall meetings will take place in January as well. At Glades Central High School on January 9th at 6pm, January 15th at the PBCC Lake Worth campus at 7pm, and in Jupiter at the FAU North Campus at 6:30pm on the 16th of January.
