PALM BEACH COUNTY SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS
WENDY SARTORY LINK IS PLEASED TO INTRODUCE THE
VOTE IN HONOR OF A VETERAN PROGRAM.

Let us honor the men and women who fought for our freedom and right to VOTE!

Palm Beach County, FL (November 2019) - The Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Office is pleased to introduce the Vote in Honor of a Veteran program. This program was established to encourage voter participation and help remind citizens of the countless sacrifices made by our veterans and service members to ensure that we may continue to cast a ballot each election day.

By exercising our right to vote, we show veterans and service members the respect they earned for protecting our nation. This program allows Palm Beach County voters the opportunity to cast their Vote in Honor of a Veteran. These voters will be given an I Voted in Honor of a Veteran sticker instead of the regular I Voted sticker at the polls.

The Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections office is putting out a call for biographical information and pictures of honorably discharged veterans and current service members who have a connection to Palm Beach County. This information will be displayed at the main office, on the digital Wall of Honor page on our website, and will be used during voter outreach events.

“This is just a small way that we can say thank you and pay tribute to the sacrifices that our service men and women have made throughout history to protect our freedoms and sacred right to vote,” said Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections, Wendy Sartory Link.”

You don’t have to be related to a veteran to vote in honor of one. You don’t even need to know a veteran personally. You will do your part if you simply go to the polls and Vote in Honor of a Veteran.

Veterans and service members who wish to be honored should visit our Vote in Honor of a Veteran page to complete the form and upload a photo. You may also mail or visit our main office and hand deliver your information. Please do not mail original photos.
