In Florida, the people have the right to propose amendments to the Florida Constitution through an initiative petition process. Throughout the year, we verify tens of thousands of initiative petitions signed by Palm Beach County voters. Sponsors of these initiatives must secure the required number of valid signatures in order for their initiative to be placed on a General Election ballot. To be placed on the 2020 General Election Ballot, a petition must be signed by ______ voters and the signatures must come from at least ___ of Florida's ___ congressional districts.

More information on Florida's petition process, including a database containing former and currently proposed constitutional amendments or revisions, can be found on the Florida Department of State's website.
